WIN Gallery: Art galleries have a distinct rhythm, different from that of a performance stage. Did you feel that the atmosphere of such a space influences the way you relate to the artistic moment?
Raluca Moldoveanu: Art galleries maintain a calmer rhythm, behaviorally speaking, even if mentally I am trained at that moment. They temper me, I need concentration, analysis, and introspection, which I cannot do at a concert, where the energy is immediately released. This space in galleries becomes an intimate, cultured, sophisticated setting through the way thinking is set in motion.
WIN Gallery: Your path today seems to be expanding toward several forms of expression, from music to theatre and television. How do you manage to maintain a coherent line between these directions?
Raluca Moldoveanu: Managing my activities, completely different from one another, is difficult. I need discipline, time, and patience. Everything has to be taken one at a time. I still have not managed to master, to juggle the organization of these. It is very difficult, because each one comes with special requirements, different hours and schedules at which I have to wake up, be there, or the time allocated for my preparation for each of these.
WIN Gallery: For those who have followed your activity for a long time, there is the impression of a constant evolution, but also of an artistic curiosity that pushes you toward new experiences. What role does this openness play in the development of your career?
Raluca Moldoveanu: The role of artistic curiosity toward new experiences, as far as the development of my career is concerned, is that of living new sensations, like a mental game that I want to play with myself, of surpassing my personal record and stirring my spontaneity.
